An internship with the Octagon House Museum and the St. Croix County Historical Society is a meaningful way to gain hands on experience in the public history, non-profit, and museum fields.

 

Interns work with staff, volunteers and Board members on a variety of projects focused on history preservation, interpretation, and stewardship. All this, along with a healthy dollop of fun, laughter and community engagement are all part of a typical day around here.
